Clark County chiropractor officially declared a COVID-19 outbreak, under investigation – OPB News

The Clark County chiropractic center that may have exposed numerous people to COVID-19 is formally a break out and under investigation by 2 state companies. County health authorities stated Friday there are two”probable “cases of coronavirus linked to Chiro One Wellness Center, where a staffer was verified positive Monday.

Meanwhile, state-level health officials said the center already generated a handful of problems throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. The Columbian paper first reported the problems.

The investigation began July 30 and is still ongoing, said commission chair David Folweiler. Folweiler said its open case was broadened this week after news came to light about the potential 300 direct exposures.

According to Folweiler, the commission can discipline the center. That could suggest fines, remediation or, ultimately, cancellation of license.

“We've given its licensees info about numerous pronouncements and policies that they need to adhere to,” Folweiler said.

Chiro One, headquartered in Illinois, could not be grabbed remark.
